"I'm excited to join the team and get started," says Jonatan Green Brzezinski, the new CEO. "I took on this role because we have an important mission ahead of us: to minimize the harm caused by increasingly intense rainstorms due to climate change. Plus, it’s fun to build products and to run a company."
Brzezinski, who previously served as a field delegate for the International Committee of the Red Cross in Papua New Guinea, brings a unique blend of experiences from humanitarian projects and tech startups. His previous experience with an AI-startup will be invaluable as PluvioFlow moves toward commercialization.
"We're thrilled with the positive feedback we've received from our initial customer demonstrations," continues Brzezinski. "Our software has been praised for its speed, user-friendliness, and level of detail. The ability to seamlessly visualize water depth and movement at a granular level at different timesteps is a game-changer for urban planners and engineers."
The next step is a pilot program. "We're planning more extensive pilot studies where customers can upload their own data and run simulations that suit a broad set of use cases."
