Programme: VALIDATE
Do you have a project where you've already done some market research or customer outreach and want to take it further? Then VALIDATE is the programme for you.
VALIDATE is a programme for students, doctoral students, and researchers at Lund University who want to take their projects to the next level. The programme is held in English and welcomes participants from all faculties.
Four interactive workshops:
- Verification plan – Develop a go-to-market plan and analyse key assumptions
- Business Hypothesis – Build realistic assumptions about what is required for your idea to be viable
- IP – How intellectual property rights and intangible assets can strengthen your project
- Pitch – Practise presenting your idea in an engaging way
Who can apply?
You are a student, researcher, or employee at Lund University. You already have a project with LU Innovation in the verification phase. We welcome 1-2 participants per project.
Why join VALIDATE?
In VALIDATE, you work on testing your assumptions in practice, building a business hypothesis, and understanding what IP means for your project. You also get to practise pitching your idea. By participating alongside other projects at the same stage, you gain feedback and perspectives from multiple angles.
What we expect from you:
To get as much as possible out of VALIDATE, we ask that you:
- Engage with the tasks assigned between sessions (they don't take much time, but are important for getting real value out of the workshops).
- Attend at least three of the four in-person sessions.
- Share insights and experiences in a safe and open environment.
