VALIDATE program: take your idea or innovation project to the next level

Are you a student, doctoral candidate, or researcher at Lund University with a project or startup? Have you conducted an initial market study and had customer contact? LU Innovation's VALIDATE program helps you take your idea to the next level. Application deadline: September 15.

LU Innovation is Lund University's innovation office where researchers and students can turn for advice on how to commercialize their ideas or research results. We offer educational programs, help with funding applications, and support with regards to patents and intellectual property rights – all free of charge.

What is VALIDATE?

VALIDATE is a program where you have the opportunity to take your project or idea to the next level.

VALIDATE consists of four interactive sessions covering:

  • Stakeholder mapping (Sept 30, 2:00-4:00 PM) Identify actors who can influence your idea
  • Business hypothesis (Oct 7, 2:00-4:00 PM) Create realistic assumptions for economic sustainability
  • Customer journey (Oct 14, 2:00-4:00 PM) Understand how customers think and act
  • Storytelling (Oct 21, 2:00-4:30 PM) Present your idea in an engaging way to customers and partners

Who can apply?

Students, researchers, or employees at Lund University with an existing idea/project where you have conducted market research and preferably have initial customer contacts. All faculties welcome.
