Conference: Science for Society – Bridging the Gap!
This year’s Science for Society conference will be all about knowledge transfer between academia and society. We invite you to learn how research can generate change in society and hear how other PhD students have “bridged the gap”. The conference will also feature a number of hands-on workshops where you will have the opportunity to discover how your research can be employed outside academia. Join PhD students and postdocs from Sweden, Denmark and Norway for this year’s conference in Lund, Sweden.

The Entrepreneureship Fair
For the third consecutive year, the Entrepreneurship Fair will be organised by VentureLab and the Sten K. Johnsson Centre for Entrepreneurship at the Academic Society (AF). The aim of the fair is to inspire entrepreneurship as a possible career path for students and researchers at Lund University and to encourage more people to develop their own business ideas. The fair also highlights the innovation systems available in the region and the help they offer. In previous years, approximately 20 startups and 10 organisations from the support system have attracted more than 600 students to the fair.
More information about the event will be published in August.
