Sustainability & project development
Working strategically with sustainability means having a competitive edge. We support projects with their sustainability work in a number of ways. Some are impact-driven, others need to make sure that sustainability is taken into account.
The world is facing major societal challenges that require innovative solutions. Solutions that are economically, socially and environmentally sustainable.
With world-leading research and a unique disciplinary range, Lund University has excellent opportunities to contribute to solutions that can help us meet societal challenges and the Sustainable Development Goals. We meet researchers everyday driven by the will to create impact in society through their knowledge.
For us at LU Innovation, sustainability is a priority area. There is a growing demand for new sustainable solutions, skills, and technologies. Societal challenges are becoming a stronger driving force for new solutions.
In order to be competitive and attract financial support and investments, you have to take sustainability into account. We have the skills and experience needed to guide you and your project through how to start working on your sustainability strategy.
A model to support projects in sustainability
We have, together with expert help in sustainability, developed a model for coaching and supporting our early-stage innovation projects and companies in sustainability. Together we look at the project's positive and negative impact and help to form a basis for strategic sustainability work. We do it so that the projects and companies that come from research and knowledge at Lund University will benefit society - in a sustainable way.
