Would you like to gain global attention and compete for funding for your innovation? Then the RISE Award U21 might be for you!

The RISE Awards stand for Real Impact on Society and Environment and is a competition for student- and PhD-led projects working to achieve the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. Each project must aim to achieve at least one of the UN’s goals. You may be at an early stage, but the project must be more than just a theoretical idea.

The competition consists of a local and an international round. The local round will be decided in a live pitch competition on May 15, where the pitches will be recorded. Two winners will be selected, and their videos will be submitted to the international round. The winners of the international round will be awarded 2,000 USD. The competition is open from: March 10 - April 7, 2025.
Finalists will be notified on: April 14, 2025.
Final in Lund: May 15, 2025.

The winners of the international round will be announced in June 2025.
