Elevate Program – accelerate your startup
Are you a student at the end of your studies or a researcher at Lund University? Is your startup past the ideation phase and ready to accelerate? LU Innovation and VentureLab have designed the Elevate program for startups who are willing to invest time and energy in getting investment-ready. The program is free-of-charge and consists of lunch meetings, workshops, coaching and office space in VentureLab's incubator.
Elevate aims to catalyze the acceleration and growth of new companies founded by students and researchers at Lund University. With over 9 out of 10 startups receiving funding after or during the program, it is a program that continues to deliver results.
Elevate sets out to give startups a competitive edge. We want to help you scale your company by developing the right team, finding your target group and hooking you up with investors.
Spring program 2023:
- Starts in Lund on the 15th of February 2023 and runs until the 31st of May 2023
- Starts with an introduction lunch on the 15th of February
- Kickoff with three afternoon sessions, on the 28th of February - the 2nd of March between 14:00-18:00 with workshops around the investor view on startups, and start building your pitch decks
- After that: Wednesday lunch sessions where we deep-dive into relevant topics with a focus on creating an excellent business story for dialogues with investors, funding organizations, and incubators
- When the program is finished you will have elevated your startup and made it investor-ready
Elevate will increase your knowledge in:
- Creating a great pitch deck
- How to deliver a great pitch
- What to think of when building up a company
- Practical aspects of running a company
- How to talk to & reach your customers
- How to present market, competition, and business model
- Sustainability in your business
To qualify for Elevate you need to:
- At least one in your team has to be a student or researcher at Lund University, now or within the last 6 months
- Planing to work full-time with your startup in the near future
- Be past ideation phase
- Have a proof-of-concept
- Be able to attend the majority of the sessions during the program
After Elevate you will:
- Have a pitch deck
- Have pitched to investors
- Have increased knowledge of what it takes to get an investment
- Have increased knowledge of the practical aspects of running a company
- Have an extended network of e.g investors, business angels, incubators
- Be ready to accelerate your startup
