I work as a Project Manager with responsibility for one of the priorities in the Strategic Innovation Agenda for Major Diseases that aims to support innovation in Life Science. The program, which is nationally, will result in a better utilization of the knowledge and research generated in the strong Swedish research environments, while it will create opportunities for small companies to grow. My job is to lead efforts to design effective physical and virtual meeting places for the triple helix interaction, with a focus on innovation and unmet needs in the diabetes field.
I have a Master´s degree in Molecular Cell Biology from Lund University and a Ph.D. in pharmacology from the Queen Mary University of London. After doctoralstudies, I returned to Lund University for postdoctoral studies. I have also worked as a Project Manager and Team Leader in the Discovery on Danish Biotechbusiness. My research has primarily focused on various aspects of type 2 diabetes.
